Easy Tissue Paper Flowers
With May Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Mother’s Day all falling in this colourful month, what better craft to spotlight than these easy tissue paper flowers! What You’ll Need: • Assorted tissue paper (approx. 12”x18”) • Scissors • Stapler Instructions: 1. Layer 6-10 pieces of tissue paper in desired color order. 2. Cardboard Castanets
In honor of Earth Day 2021, I embarked on a special project for my kodomo kiddos to incorporate the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. If 2020 brought anything, it was a plethora of cardboard boxes (thanks Amazon!) and bottle caps…..don’t ask. But this meant an opportunity for multicultural learning and instrument-making.
