Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 cup sugar<\/li>
  • 1 1\/3 cups margarine (room temperature)<\/li>
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)<\/li>
  • 6 tablespoons water<\/li>
  • 1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>
  • 4 cups flour (all-purpose)<\/li>
  • Fillings of choice such as poppyseed, prune (lekvar), apricot, Nutella<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Steps to Make It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Gather the ingredients.<\/li>
    2. Cream together sugar and margarine.<\/li>
    3. Add eggs and cream until smooth.<\/li>
    4. Stir in water and vanilla.<\/li>
    5. Add flour, mixing until dough forms a ball.<\/li>
    6. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate a few hours.<\/li>
    7. Heat oven to 375 F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.<\/li>
    8. Pinch off walnut-size pieces of dough and roll into a ball.<\/li>
    9. Press ball between 2 pieces of wax paper and transfer to the prepared baking sheets spacing about 1 inch apart.<\/li>
    10. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle of dough.<\/li>
